Advisor Nahid Islam Reflects on Fulfillment of Independence
Information and Broadcasting Advisor, Md. Nahid Islam, stated that although independence was achieved in 1971, it remained unprotected until now. "The victory of 2024 has completed our independence," he remarked.
Speaking to journalists at the National Memorial in Savar on Monday (December 16), the advisor extended heartfelt greetings to the nation on the occasion of Victory Day. He commented, "Through the victory of 2024, the people of Bangladesh are now experiencing the true taste of liberation in a country free from Awami fascism."
Paying tribute to the martyrs of the great Liberation War and the July Uprising, Advisor Nahid Islam also expressed a resolute commitment to building a new Bangladesh free from fascism and imperialism.
